In 1987 Woodlore was launched as a division of Allen Edmonds. Woodlore began by making cedar shoe trees to protect Allen Edmonds fine leather welted shoes. Made to mirror the quality of our shoes and to honor our Wisconsin heritage, the manufacturing facility is located just across the road in Port Washington. The company was branded “Woodlore” so that it could concentrate on creating wooden products for Allen Edmonds as well as competitive shoe brands and major department stores across the world. We are very proud of Woodlore and how it has grown from its humble beginnings as a shoe tree company. At Woodlore, we understand the importance of preserving the environment for future generations. Woodlore Men’s Full Toe Shoe Tree
This shoe tree features a solid toe with ventilation slots where moisture dissipates, as well as an overhang heel for easy handling.
Our Full shoe tree is very similar to the Combination except that the toe is one piece of aromatic cedar versus a split toe. Some men prefer the sturdiness of a solid toe and choose the Full shoe tree.
This shoe tree has an overhang heel which you can see from the side view. Grasp it and gently push forward toward the toe of the shoe when inserting the shoe tree and when taking it out of your shoe so you don’t damage your shoes.
